Val di Fiemme Ski Resort

Val di Fiemme is an affordable ski resort in the Dolomites, located at approximately 1,000 meters above sea level. Around 11 small resort towns dot the ski slopes, offering a variety of accommodation options. Predazzo and Cavalese are considered particularly attractive.

Cavalese deserves special attention: this medieval town, in addition to skiing, offers visitors the opportunity to visit an ancient Franciscan monastery, go ice skating, and even try paragliding. A single ski pass is valid throughout the resort, and free shuttle buses are available for transportation between the slopes.

Val di Fiemme Ski Slopes
From a skiing perspective, the valley is the western region of the Dolomiti Superski alliance, offering skiers nearly a hundred kilometers of slopes, modern lifts, and excellent infrastructure.

The resort has relatively few challenging runs for experienced skiers. However, the Alpe Cermis slope between Eurohotel (2000 m) and Doss dei Laresi (1279 m) deserves special mention.

A gondola lift near Predazzo takes skiers to the Latemar ski area, which is more suited to intermediate skiers. The eastern part of the slope near Caserina is particularly interesting.

To reach the third ski area, Bellamonte – Alpa di Lusia, you’ll need to take a bus. However, the slopes here are excellent: comfortable, long blue and red runs wind through the forest. A narrow and steep black run also begins here, leading to the neighboring Val di Fassa.

Beginner snowboarders also have excellent conditions here, especially in the Alpe Lucia area. Snow parks are also available both at the Ski-Center Latemar ski area and in the town of Obereggen.
