Entertainment and attractions
The infrastructure of the Val Gardena resort is well developed: there are many attractions, as well as discos, bars, cozy restaurants, fashion stores, indoor ice rinks and swimming pools.
Cultural events are also available to tourists, because this is Italy. You can get acquainted with the historical heritage of the region, starting with the Museum of Local History. His collection includes ancient archaeological finds, petrified remains of dinosaurs, old wooden toys, centuries-old sculptures and paintings.
The works of wood masters are presented at the Art 52 exhibition. You can see masterpieces of sculpture and painting in the Unika art gallery.
There are also many beautiful churches in the Dolomites, for example, the parish church in Ortisei. This impressive building in the Baroque style stands out for its unique exterior and interior decoration. Tourists also like to go to the ancient ruins of medieval castles, the most popular of which are Volkenstein and Fishburg.
In summer, the breathtaking views of the blooming Alps attract travelers as much as the snow-covered slopes and fir trees. Tourists are offered a variety of entertainment, such as hiking, fishing, horse riding, mountaineering, rafting, parachuting or cycling.
