Val Thorens Ski Resort

Val Thorens is located in the Belleville Valley, the largest in the Three Valleys region. It is the highest resort in Europe, at an altitude of 2,300 meters. The highest point is Cime de Caron (3,230 meters). Its slopes boast some of the most exciting black runs and a variety of off-piste routes. Furthermore, the slopes on the Péclet Glacier begin at an altitude of 3,101 meters, and on the Xavière Glacier at 3,133 meters.

Val Thorens offers a SNOW GUARANTEE. This assurance is achieved through the extensive snowmaking systems and the altitude of the slopes.

Almost all slopes are equipped with Gaz-ex avalanche control systems, which quickly secure the slopes from avalanches.

The resort’s hotels and lifts are located close to each other, making it easy to ski to and from the hotel. After skiing, there’s a wide range of leisure options.

Val Thorens is home to one of the best nightclubs in France, called Underground, located right beneath the central square.

This region is also known by other names: Val Thorens, Val Thorens, and the Three Valleys.
