Vilnius Attractions

Compared to other European capitals, Vilnius is quiet and cozy. The old part has an incomparable atmosphere thanks to its multitude of bookstores, small cafes, and souvenir shops. All of Vilnius’s main attractions can be seen in two or three days. Walking tours allow you to immerse yourself in the city’s atmosphere and cherish pleasant memories for longer.

Lower Castle
Also known as the Palace of the Duchy of Lithuania, it is located at the foot of Gediminas’ Tower. Completely restored in the early 21st century, the palace now houses several art collections belonging to the National Museum of Lithuania. The museum itself is located just below the palace. It contains the most significant items from Lithuanian history.

Radziwill Museum
The Radziwill dynasty is one of the oldest Lithuanian dynasties. The museum displays a large collection of paintings and other works of art, which the family collected over many years both in Europe and abroad.

Old Town
This part of Vilnius extends south of Castle Hill. The Old Town is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pilies Street is considered the most popular landmark in Old Vilnius. It is a favorite strolling spot for both tourists and locals, as it is home to numerous historical, cultural, and architectural landmarks.
