Gstaad Ski Resort

Gstaad Ski Resort is one of the most prestigious and respectable resorts in Switzerland. It is prized by wealthy Europeans, bohemians, and aristocrats for its sophisticated service, traditions, and luxurious facilities—the architecture of ancient chalets, picturesque mountains, pristine nature, refined atmosphere, and tranquility.

Gstaad is a popular vacation spot for leading businessmen, film stars, and politicians from around the world. The opportunities here are so vast that visitors often put their skis aside and enjoy other activities.

The total length of pistes in the entire ski region is 250 km. In addition to ski slopes, the resort offers a halfpipe, toboggan runs, and four snowboard parks. The slopes are equipped with 62 lifts. The longest piste, from the Les Diablerets glacier to Reusch, is 14 km long. Cross-country ski trails total 143 km. In addition to snowboarding and skiing, Gstaad offers freestyle skiing, paragliding, hot air ballooning, curling, squash, tennis, and horseback riding.

In summer, mountaineering, mountain biking, and hiking along forest trails are popular. The ski season runs from early December to late April.

For children, Gstaad offers ski kindergartens for ages 3 and up, a dedicated ski area with two lifts, a ski carousel, and much more. The Gstaad ski resort also boasts educational and amusement parks for children. A trip to the zoo is also a fun activity for children.
