Rajecké Teplice is a small but very popular thermal spa located in northwestern Slovakia, 15 km from the city of Žilina. It lies between two rivers – the Rajčanka and the Kuněradka – and is surrounded by forests. Mount Lučanska Mala, with its peaks jutting into the sky, forms a picturesque valley nearby.

The resort features the “Sauna World” center, which offers five types of baths and saunas. The town also has another spa center, “Water World.” This center features a rehabilitation swimming pool maintained at 30-32°C, a therapeutic relaxation pool at 37-38°C, and a Charcot shower. All pools are filled with thermal water from Rajecké Teplice.
The “Aphrodite” Spa Center is a true gem of the town. Designed in an antique style, it is the center of life at the resort. The spa’s water temperature is 38°C and has a therapeutic effect, which can be beneficial for degenerative diseases, injuries, surgical sequelae, and neurological conditions. Of course, you can also visit the spa for relaxation.
The Laura Thermal Pool is located on a hill and offers magnificent views of the city. Here you can swim in several pools, including a children’s pool. The water temperature is 26°C, and guests can enjoy minigolf, beach volleyball, a restaurant, and a bar.
