The Estonian resort of Värska is renowned for its rich mineral water, which is sold throughout Estonia, and the healing properties of the local mud. It boasts a sanatorium, a mud baths clinic, and a lake, which becomes a popular swimming spot in the summer.

Many people come here not only to restore their health but also to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, to ride a bicycle, a boat, or a yacht, and to participate in village festivals, for which the resort town has a special song festival ground.
