Capri Island

Capri is a tiny Italian island in the Tyrrhenian Sea that captivates at first sight. The island is a cradle of leisure and chic, home to expensive restaurants and luxurious villas. Renowned fashion designers, Hollywood superstars, and the wealthy of all stripes love to vacation here.

Capri Resorts
Capri boasts two iconic holiday destinations: the resort bays of Marina Grande and Marina Piccola. Marina Grande harbor is accessible by ferry from Naples and the surrounding area. Near the pier is Marina Grande Beach, the island’s largest beach, lined with luxury hotels.

Marina Piccola is known for its picture-postcard views of the Faraglioni rocks and the Sirens’ Cliff. This part of the island is home to renowned seafood and Italian restaurants. Lush gardens named after Emperor Augustus are also located here.

Capri Beaches
The beaches of Marina Grande Bay, where ferries arrive, are the first to greet visitors. The density of people per square meter here exceeds all standards, and the infrastructure is well-developed. The entrance to the sea is pebbly, so safety shoes are a good idea. Don’t be afraid of boats and yachts – they pass well offshore.

One of the most popular beaches on the island is Bagni Tiberio, located between Marina Grande and the Blue Grotto. Its fame is due to the Bagni Tiberio seafood restaurant and the remains of an ancient imperial villa.

Lido del Faro Beach is located near the lighthouse in the southwest of Capri. Lido is attractive for its terraces carved directly into the cliffs and connected by stone steps.

Marina Piccola Bay is considered the best-equipped beach area on the island. Nearby are the beaches of Di Giola, La Fontelina, and Luigi a Faraglioni. Those seeking solitude should head to Di Giola. The access to the water at La Fontelina is not very convenient. At Luigi a Faraglioni, the stone platform with gentle steps is covered with a carpeted path.
