Cloak Bridge
The unique five-story Cloak Bridge, built in 1764, spans a deep moat and connects the Upper Castle with the castle theater.
Egon Schiele Arts Center
The Arts Center features a permanent exhibition dedicated to the life and work of one of Krumlov’s most famous residents – Egon Schiele. Works by other famous artists and sculptors are also on display.
Wax Museum
The Wax Museum displays exhibits of notable figures not only from the city but from throughout southern Bohemia.
Church of St. Vitus
The Gothic Church of St. Vitus, founded in 1340, is decorated with beautiful 15th-century frescoes. The hearts of several members of the Schwarzenberg family are buried in a niche in the Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk.
Concord Square
On Concord Square stands the Plague Column with a figure of the Virgin Mary. There is also a fountain, or rather, a decorative pond.
Town Hall
On the opposite side of Concord Square stands the Renaissance Town Hall, built in 1580. The Town Hall has neither a spire nor a beautiful main entrance. The Town Hall itself is not a popular tourist destination, but the basement houses the Museum of Torture.
Krumlov Castle
The Red Gate of Krumlov Castle is the entrance to the castle’s first courtyard and the Bear Moat. The castle is the heart of the city, its architecture blending various styles into a unified ensemble. The castle grounds include 42 buildings, 300 rooms, 5 courtyards, a garden, and a park.
