Resorts of the Costa Dorada

The Costa Dorada stretches for 140 km from the town of Vilanova i la Geltrú to the lagoons and rice fields of the Ebro River Valley. The Costa Dorada owes its name to its fine golden sand beaches, most of which have been awarded the Blue Flag.

The Port Aventura amusement park is one of the reasons many tourists with children flock here. Younger people are drawn to the wild parties in the clubs and discos. History buffs can explore Roman and medieval monuments in the coastal capital, Tarragona.
