Holidays in Germany

Above all, a holiday in Germany is remarkable for its diversity: stunning nature combines with rich cultural traditions, and beach and ski resorts coexist with historic cities. Furthermore, there’s a well-developed infrastructure and convenient transportation, an abundance of hotels, and excellent service.

Sightseeing holidays: what to see?
Berlin boasts the Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island, one of the best zoos in Europe, and affordable shopping. Munich boasts a magnificent opera house and Neuschwanstein Castle, the best beer in the world, and football. Hamburg boasts castles and fortresses, rural landscapes, and the highest concentration of churches and cathedrals per square meter.

We also recommend visiting Dresden with its famous art gallery and Goethe’s birthplace, Weimar, Cologne with its renowned cathedral, and the half-timbered houses of Frankfurt. Skiing

The main ski resorts are Berchtesgaden, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberstdorf, and Reit im Winkl.

The resorts are primarily designed for beginner and intermediate skiers, with very few extreme slopes. The resorts’ infrastructure is top-notch: queues are virtually non-existent, and there are a large number of lifts. Après-ski activities range from dog sled racing to excursions. The season runs from November to March, and the Zugspitze is open year-round.

Beach Vacations
The Baltic and North Sea coasts boast several picturesque resorts that rival the beach destinations of Southern Europe. The beaches boast fine white sand, healthy air, pine forests, gentle slopes, and numerous beautiful old villas, immersing you in the romantic atmosphere of the 19th century.
