Entertainment and Attractions
The symbols of Palma are Bellver Castle and the Cathedral of Santa Maria, also known as La Seu. Both monuments have a unique and rich history and are a must-see. Bellver Castle, the only round fortress in Spain, offers stunning panoramic views from its walls. Once a royal residence and a place where political prisoners suffered, it now houses a museum and hosts classical music concerts.

Tourists also enjoy ancient churches, vizier palaces, the buildings of the Municipal Council, the Commerce Exchange, and the College of Merchants. In the eastern part of the city, in the Son Espanyolet neighborhood, lies the Poble Espanyol Park, akin to an open-air museum similar to Barcelona’s.
