Treatment in Yverdon-les-Bains
Besides the natural rejuvenation benefits of the pristine waters of Lake Neuchâtel, thermal waters are known to cure many ailments. Magnesium and sulfur thermal waters, flowing from mineral springs over 14,000 years old, reach temperatures ranging from 29 to 34°C, and their depth reaches 598.5 meters!

Indications for treatment in Yverdon can range from mechanical injuries, rheumatic diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, as well as neurological and respiratory conditions. You can recuperate in one of the spa complexes, as well as in the indoor and outdoor pools on Avenue des Bains. The “healing heart” of the resort, the Thermal Wellness Center, is located here. It offers thermal pools, massages, physiotherapy courses, inhalation therapy, and saunas.

Entertainment and Attractions in Yverdon-les-Bains
The town’s main landmark is the Château de Yverdon-les-Bains. It has a perfect square base, with four mighty towers at the corners. Construction of the castle began in the 1260s, by order of Duke Pierre II of Savoy. It served two functions: to protect the town and to serve as the Duke’s residence. In 1798, it came under the control of Napoleon’s Helvetic Republic. In 1805, the Pestalozzi Institute was opened there, which existed until 1974. And later, the Yverdon Museum, with an exhibition dedicated to the unique history of the resort.
