Zermatt Ski Resort

Zermatt Ski Resort has gained its popularity thanks to its location (at an altitude of 1,620 m), comfortable lifts, and the longest pistes.

Due to its meridional location, the resort is protected from strong winds and guarantees snow cover. To preserve the environment, cars are banned in the town; electric cars and horse-drawn carriages are the only remaining means of transport. Skiers at Zermatt should keep in mind that the mountains are very high and steep, requiring excellent technical skills.
